- Stick to a Schedule.
Organize your day and weeks in advance. Think about the responsibilities you have and the realistic approach you need to take.
If you are uncertain to how much time is spent doing these tasks; track it.
This will help you identify a pattern and help you incorporate into your schedule.
- Prioritize
You need to decide which of your projects are the most important. How they will impact your business and schedule accordingly.
- Setting Boundaries
Many of us are now working from home. We have family members, children, pets and you need to let them know when you are unavailable.
- The hours of the day that you don’t want to be disturbed, with the exception of an emergency.
- What counts as an “emergency.”
- Establish a routine; taking a break, lunch etc.. same time every day.
- Dealing with Distractions
No matter how hard we try, we will have them. Depending on the type or amount of work you do; we all need to clear our heads and hearts. We all need breaks to stay productive.
- Try Not to Procrastinate
If it can be done today, do it. If you are lucky and finish the daily tasks of the day, start planning for tomorrow and maybe even perform some of them.
